Embodied Groove Experience with Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Ezra Lipp, Mookie Siegel, and Murph Murphy

Don’t just attend a concert, be a part of an extraordinary sensory adventure! Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, movement, and magic at the Ashkenaz in Berkeley, CA on September 10! Let Dr. Leah Taylor take you on a transformative “Embodied Groove Experience” – an interactive movement journey designed for healing and elevation through the power of live music, movement, and connection. Doors are at 7pm and the Experience kicks off at 7:30pm. We’ll start with a 45-min intentional Embodied Groove warmup with improv music by the Embodied Groove Ensemble to lock-in the audience/band connection and set the vibe for the night. This will be followed by a full set of curated tunes by the Embodied Groove Ensemble including originals from band members and covers that evoke feelings of expressive freedom, connection, and elevation. I’ve selected some of my most favorite musicians to make up the Embodied Groove Ensemble, Dan Lebowitz and Ezra Lipp from ALO, Mookie Siegel from the legendary David Nelson Band, and Murph Murphy from New Monsoon and Stu Allen & Friends. The night will be co-created by all in attendance and will never happen the same again. It is going to be an evening you will not want to miss! Dancing, singing, and creative expression are all highly encouraged. It’s all ages, so bring the family and let’s have some fun!
